Camps - Frequently Asked Questions
What if my child doesn’t know anyone?
No problem! Part of our make up is to ensure new friends are made and we actively promote great social interaction amongst the children through group work and team games. New friends will be made!
I do not want to commit to a whole week, what can i do?
We have just the thing! You can book individual days across our camps and you can even book half days if you wish to!
I am worried about being late for work...
Don’t be! Our team are on site and ready to start signing in your child as early as 7.30am to ensure you get to work on time! Options include: 9am-5pm / 8am-6pm / 7.30am-6pm / 9am-1pm / 1pm-5pm.
Is there on site parking?
Yes! Very easy parking on both of our sites.
I am worried about the safeguarding of my child...
All of our coaches are DBS checked and go through extensive training to ensure that best practices are being used during the days. We are experienced in having 50 children per day in our care, we are OFSTED registered, and have an outstanding reputation throughout Surrey. There is no need to worry, but if you would like to find out more, please contact us.
How do I book?
On our booking system you can book any of our services.
Is there always space at Fletcher's Feathers Camps?
Places are given on a first come first served basis. Our advice is to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. We do occasionally fill up which means we are unable to accept more children. If more spaces become available we will release them back onto our online system.
Can I cancel or make changes to my booking?
All cancellations or amendments are made manually by Fletchers Feathers. Please email outlining your request. Please note that we can only offer a refund/credit or make amendments if we have been given the correct notice period. Usually this is 14 days. You can purchase extra flexibility to reduce the required notice period to 24 hours. For more information about our policies please visit our Policies Page. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund or credit even if a child is not well enough to attend Camp.
My child is currently in nursery, can they attend Camp?
Unfortunately not. We recognise that every child is unique. We are unable to accept children in nursery as we may not be able to meet the needs of children that age. Once they have started in reception they can join our settings.
Do you accept childcare vouchers or tax free childcare?
Yes! As a registered provider we happily accept this form of payment. Please visit our Childcare Vouchers / Tax Free Childcare page for more information.
Will my children be in the same group?
They can be. At Camp we believe in choice. We will offer several activities and children can choose to be together (some activities may have age limits). Our staff will pitch activities for the children they have in front of them.
What should my children bring to holiday club?
There's a handy list right here including clothing, sun protection and food (please, no nuts)
